Ocean Basket Academy

A brand is only as strong as the people who bring it to life.

About Jess

Learning that's built for the floor, not the boardroom.

Jessica Pallister is the Learning and Development leader at Ocean Basket Group, where she leads the Academy's work in building capability across a distributed restaurant environment. With a background in education and adult learning, she brings a practical understanding of how people learn, unlearn, and change behaviour in real working conditions.

At Ocean Basket, her work focuses on building learning that reaches frontline teams, managers, franchisees, and operational specialists — through role-based pathways, digital learning, masterclasses, coaching, field feedback, and practical performance support. Her perspective stays grounded in the realities of hospitality: fast-paced work, operational pressure, service standards, and the need to connect every training minute back to business priorities.

Learning through others. Coaching from managers, peer feedback, and time spent watching how the best teams run a shift.

0%
Education

Formal training. Structured courses, masterclasses, and pathways that give the other 90% a solid foundation to build on.
